What are thread veins on the face?

Thread, or spider veins are normal blood vessels that have become permanently enlarged so that they become visible through the skin.

Thread veins on the face are usually caused by rosacea or sun-damage. These are harmless and don't cause any symptoms. Clients can feel self-conscious about their appearance.
