What are milia?

Milia are small, dome-shaped bumps that are usually white in colour.  these are normally found on the face, cheeks, eyelids, and also on lips. They can develop on other parts of the body. Milia is not usually painful but can cause some people discomfort. Clients can feel self-conscious about their appearance. 

Milia can be safely removed by cauterisation. Heat is applied directly into the dome, dissolving the built-up keratin. The treated area can be sore for a few days afterward.

 

Only one treatment is needed to remove milia.
