POLYNUCLEOTIDES
WHAT ARE POLYNUCLEOTIDES?
Polynucleotide treatment is a regenerative medicine procedure that uses injectable gel to rejuvenate the skin:
How it works:
Polynucleotides are derived from salmon or trout DNA and are injected into the skin with a fine needle. They work by stimulating fibroblast cells in the tissues, which triggers a healing response that improves skin elasticity, hydration, and cell turnover.
Benefits::
The appearance of wrinkles, creepy skin, and stretch marks
Tightening pores
Procedure:
The treatment involves a consultation, topical anaesthetic, and a minimally invasive injection.
Results:
You may notice improvements after one treatment, but for best results, it is recommended to have 3 treatments spaced 2 weeks apart. After that, a maintenance treatment every 6 months is typically recommended.
Side effects:
You may experience some minor redness and swelling at the injection sites, which should resolve within 24–48 hours.
Who can have it:
Polynucleotide treatment is generally safe for most people, but it's not recommended for pregnant or nursing people, or those with a fish or shellfish allergy.
