Hi guys, I thought I'd let you know the new system when booking appointments online. Due to several no shows this week (new clients booking appointments and not turning up or even cancelling the appointment), I've introduced a £10.00 deposit policy on booking a treatment/service.
I understand that occasionally a short notice cancellation may be unavoidable, and if it is possible to reschedule your appointment without causing an issue to the studio operations, I will try to do so. However, because it is often difficult to re-book an appointment slot within 24 hours, I have taken the decision to implement the 24 hour cancellation policy.
The £10.00 deposit will be deducted from the bill once the treatment is completed.
Where late cancellations are notified (including failing to attend without notification) with less than 24 hours notice, your deposit will be retained.
I guarantee that where notification to cancel appointments is given, with more than 24 hours notice, deposits will be refunded or offset against any future treatment required.
To help clients minimise the chance of losing their deposits, a text and email reminder are sent out 48 hours ahead of the appointment. Clients should not rely on this service due to unforseen circumstances.
I respect that your time is valuable and I appreciate that you understand that mine is too. Appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled at short notice, or if you do not attend an appointment, this means I am unable to re-use that time for other clients.
